Delana Hope – I Declare War Lyrics
Sometimes you gotta face yourself
And admit what’s been fighting you
You’ve carried battles in your mind
You’ve carried weight in your spirit
You tried to smile when the pressure was heavy
But God kept you standing
And today, you’re rising different
There’s fire waking up in you
Heaven is pulling you forward and God is saying
“This is where you take your ground”
This is where my voice gets strong
This is where the battle shifts
Hey, eh!
I declare war! (War!)
On everything that tried to steal my peace
I declare war! (War!)
On every attack that came for my joy
I’m standing in the power of the living God
I’m covered by Jesus
No weapon will win
I declare war!
In Jesus’ name
That’s my war cry!
You can’t stay here!
Oh, yeah, hey!
Oh, yeah!
I’ve been quiet too long
I let storms talk louder than my faith
I let fear tell me who I was
But not today
God built me to be a warrior
He gave me fire in my spirit
He gave me strength in my voice
And when the enemy shows up
He’s not fighting the old me
He’s facing who God raised me to be!
Hey, yeah!
This is where heaven steps in
This is where, this is where I stand firm!
I declare war! (War!)
On everything that tried to break my strength
I declare war! (War!)
On every lie spoken against my destiny
I’m standing in the power of the living God
I’m covered by Jesus
No weapon will win
I declare war!
In Jesus’ name
It breaks now!
Oh!
Touch my mind, Lord! (Touch it, Lord!)
Touch my heart, Lord! (Heal it, Lord!)
Strengthen my hands, Lord! (Use them, Lord!)
Guide my walk, Lord! (Lead me, Lord!)
You fight for me! (Oh!)
You cover me! (Oh!)
You stand with me! (Oh!)
Break every spear! (Oh!)
I declare war! (War! War!)
I declare war! (War! War!)
I declare war! (War! War!)
Break it, break it, break it, fight for me, fight!
Fight for me! Victory is here!
I declare war!
Victory is here!
I declare war!
I declare war!
I declare war!
I declare war!
I declare war!
On every plan set against my life
I declare war!
I declare war!
On every spirit that tried to steal my joy
I’m standing strong in the name of Jesus
I’m covered, protected, lifted!
No weapon will win!
I declare war!
In Jesus’ mighty name!
This is my stand.
This is my cry.
In Jesus’ name.
I declare war.
