Power In The Name Of Jesus Lyrics – Jesus Country Music Group
I’ve seen the strongest cowboy fall down to his knees
I’ve seen a lost soul find what he needs
I’ve watched the darkness split and give way to the light
I’ve seen a stone heart change in the middle of a fight
There’s a peace that the world can never explain
There’s a hope that can rise in the middle of pain
When the road gets tough and the valley gets deep
There’s a promise my Savior has given to me
When I’m lost and I can’t see the way
I know exactly what I’m gonna say
There’s power in the name of Jesus
Hope for a heart that’s open
A light in the darkness, peace for a soul that’s broken
Mountains may rise and rivers run wide
But I know who’s standing by my side
Just have faith, He’ll break those chains
Now proclaim
That there is power in the name
Oh, the name of Jesus
When the doctor’s words bring a family to tears
When a mother prays through the weight of her fears
When a man comes home with nowhere to go
There’s a love that reaches deeper than he’ll ever know
He can turn your midnight into morning skies
Oh, give you peace and change your life
No matter how far you’ve wandered away
His arms are still open and His love never fades
When I’m lost and I can’t see the way
I know exactly what I’m gonna say
There’s power in the name of Jesus
Hope for a heart that’s open
A light in the darkness, peace for a soul that’s broken
Yeah, mountains may rise and rivers run wide
But I know who’s standing by my side
Oh, just have faith, He’ll break those chains
Now proclaim
That there is power in the name
Oh, the name of Jesus
Yes there is
Come on
Say His name when your faith gets weak
Say His name when you can barely speak
From the highest mountain to the lowest place
The atmosphere changes when you say His name
There’s power in the name of Jesus
Hope for a heart that’s open
A light in the darkness, peace for a soul that’s broken
Mountains may rise and rivers run wide
But I know who’s standing by my side
Oh yeah, just have faith, He’ll break those chains
Now proclaim
That there is power in the name
Oh, the name of Jesus
Oh, there is power
Oh, power in the name
Oh, the name of Jesus
The name of Jesus
Yeah, the name of Jesus
Oh, the name of Jesus
There’s power
In the name of Jesus
