Holding On To Heaven Lyrics – Action Worship
Lyrics:
Momentary troubles
Seem to last forever
Tested by these trials
But You say consider it joy
What I can see before me
Is here and gone tomorrow
My treasure is in Heaven
You trade my sorrow for joy
No eye has seen what is waiting for me
My hope is in eternity
No ear has heard a more powerful word
A hope beyond what’s on this Earth
I lift my hands to You
Holding on to Heaven
You have something better
That lasts forever
Keep my eyes on You
Holding on to Heaven
You have something better
That lasts forever
I will choose to worship
Even in the waiting
Beyond my understanding
Your ways are higher than mine
Jesus You are near me
No stranger to the suffering
The rock of my salvation
This blessed assurance is mine
No eye has seen what is waiting for me
My hope is in eternity
No ear has heard a more powerful word
A hope beyond what’s on this Earth
I lift my hands to You
Holding on to Heaven
You have something better
That lasts forever
Keep my eyes on You
Holding on to Heaven
You have something better
That lasts forever
That lasts forever
That lasts forever
You have something better
That lasts forever
That lasts forever
That lasts forever
You have something better
That lasts forever
When at last I’ve run my race
When I see You face to face
Falling on my knees I’ll say
Holy are You, Jesus
Wiping every tear away
No more sorrow, no more pain
Seated on the throne You reign
Worthy are You, Jesus
When at last I’ve run my race
When I see You face to face
Falling on my knees I’ll say
Holy are You, Jesus
Wiping every tear away
No more sorrow, no more pain
Seated on the throne You reign
Worthy are You, Jesus
No eye has seen what is waiting for me
My hope is in eternity
No ear has heard a more powerful word
A hope beyond what’s on this Earth
No eye has seen what is waiting for me
My hope is in eternity
No ear has heard a more powerful word
A hope beyond what’s on this Earth
No eye has seen what is waiting for me
My hope is in eternity
No ear has heard a more powerful word
A hope beyond what’s on this Earth
I lift my hands to You
Holding on to Heaven
You have something better
That lasts forever
Keep my eyes on You
Holding on to Heaven
You have something better
That lasts forever
When at last I’ve run my race
When I see You face to face
Falling on my knees I’ll say
Holy are You, Jesus
Wiping every tear away
No more sorrow, no more pain
Seated on the throne You reign
Worthy are You, Jesus
Holy are You, Jesus
Worthy are You, Jesus
Holy are You, Jesus
Worthy are You, Jesus
